Job Summary:
Our Washington, D.C. facility is seeking a dedicated Order Picker to join our fulfillment team. As an Order Picker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently assembled for shipment. Your responsibilities will include using RF scanners to locate and retrieve items from warehouse locations, verifying order accuracy, and preparing items for packing and dispatch. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Team-oriented with good communication skills. Basic knowledge of logistics and inventory control is beneficial. - Accurately select products from warehouse locations using RF scanning technology.
- Verify order details against picked items to ensure accuracy.
- Stage picked items for the packing and shipping departments.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area, ensuring all safety standards are met.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Meet or exceed daily productivity and accuracy goals.
- Communicate any inventory discrepancies or issues to warehouse supervisors.
- Assist with receiving and stocking duties as needed to support overall logistics flow.
- Participate in team efforts to improve warehouse efficiency and safety.
