Picker/Packer

Job Summary:
We are hiring a Picker/Packer for our bustling distribution center in Columbus, Ohio. This role is essential to our **Logistics** and fulfillment process, focusing on accurately selecting items for customer orders and preparing them for shipment. You will work with our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to locate products, ensure order accuracy, and package items securely. We are looking for individuals who are energetic, detail-oriented, and dedicated to maintaining a high level of productivity and **Safety** in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order details provided by the WMS.
• Verify picked items against order lists to ensure accuracy.
• Pack orders securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
• Apply shipping labels and prepare orders for dispatch.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation and warehouse environment.
• Adhere to all **Safety** guidelines and **PPE** requirements.
• Operate pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment as needed.
• Participate in inventory counts and stock rotation.
• Contribute to the overall efficiency of the **Logistics** and fulfillment process.
• Understand and utilize safe **Lifting** techniques.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
• Ability to read and interpret pick lists and WMS data.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and perform **Lifting** throughout the shift.
• Capable of **Lifting** up to 35 lbs.
• Familiarity with **Logistics** and warehouse operations.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Understanding of **Safety** practices and **PPE**.
