Order Picker

Job Summary:
Join our fast-paced warehouse team in the heart of New York City, New York, as an Order Picker! We are looking for diligent individuals responsible for accurately selecting and preparing customer orders. This role is essential to our logistics operations, ensuring that our clients receive their products efficiently and correctly. You will work with advanced scanning technology and a dynamic team to manage order fulfillment. A keen eye for detail, efficiency, and a strong commitment to safety are paramount. This includes adhering to all safety regulations, utilizing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and employing safe Lifting practices. Responsibilities:

• Accurately retrieve items from warehouse locations based on order lists.
• Utilize RF scanners and other equipment for order fulfillment.
• Inspect picked items for quality and accuracy.
• Package orders securely for shipment.
• Stage completed orders for efficient outgoing logistics.
• Maintain an organized and clean work environment.
• Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines diligently.
• Practice safe Lifting to prevent workplace injuries.
• Contribute to the overall efficiency of the warehouse operations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in order picking or warehouse work is advantageous.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Willingness to comply with safety standards and wear required PPE.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of warehouse logistics and safety procedures.
