Order Picker

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Order Picker to join our busy fulfillment center in New York City, New York. As an Order Picker, you will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by accurately and efficiently selecting items for outgoing orders. This position requires speed, precision, and the ability to navigate a large warehouse space. You will be responsible for using scanning equipment to locate and retrieve products, ensuring order accuracy before they are packed. Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick and gather products for customer orders using a pick list or scanner.
• Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
• Transport picked items to the packing station.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, or other equipment as needed.
• Report any damaged or missing items to a supervisor.
• Adhere to all warehouse Safety regulations and procedures.
• Properly use all required PPE.
• Participate in inventory counts.
• Contribute to the overall efficiency of the fulfillment operations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
• Ability to walk, stand, and bend for extended periods.
• Capacity for moderate to heavy Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
• Familiarity with scanning technology.
• Understanding of Logistics and warehouse workflows.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Awareness of workplace Safety protocols.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
