Responsibilities:
- Accurately locate and retrieve specified items from warehouse shelves.
- Verify order details against picked items to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare picked items for packing and staging.
- Operate order picking equipment, such as pallet jacks and reach trucks (certification may be required).
- Maintain organized pick paths and work areas.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the use of required PPE .
- Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory or orders.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 40 pounds consistently.
- Contribute to team efforts to meet daily order fulfillment quotas.
- Keep work areas clean and tidy.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and order specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Good physical stamina, including the ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Comfortable with lifting and moving items up to 40 lbs.
- Must be willing to wear all mandated PPE .
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
