Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order sheets using hand-held scanners or other devices.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Package items securely and appropriately for shipping, adhering to company standards.
- Transport picked items to the packing or shipping station.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock replenishment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed, following strict safety guidelines.
- Be prepared for frequent lifting of items up to 30 lbs.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding order status and potential issues.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order lists and product labels.
- Basic math skills for quantity verification.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics.
- Must wear appropriate PPE, including safety shoes.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Ability to perform repetitive lifting of items up to 30 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
