Order Picker

Job Summary:
Join our team as an Order Picker in our bustling Dallas, Texas distribution center! This vital role ensures our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This involves navigating the warehouse efficiently, using picking equipment, and ensuring the correct items and quantities are selected. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, energetic, and capable of working in a dynamic logistics environment. Your role contributes directly to customer satisfaction and the smooth flow of our operations. Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order tickets or scanner information.
• Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
• Stage picked items for packing and shipping.
• Operate electric pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
• Meet established picking quotas and performance standards.
• Assist with inventory control as needed.
• Report any discrepancies or issues to a supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is advantageous.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Capacity to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding order documents.
• Willingness to wear appropriate PPE.
• Understanding of basic logistics principles is a plus.
• Strong focus on safety and accuracy.
