Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists.
- Verify product codes and quantities before confirming picks.
- Package items securely for shipping, ensuring product protection.
- Stage picked orders for the shipping department.
- Maintain optimal organization and cleanliness of picking areas.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks or RF scanners as needed.
- Follow all safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as required.
- Report any stock discrepancies or damaged items encountered during picking.
- This position requires consistent movement and moderate lifting, often up to 30 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is beneficial.
- Strong reading and comprehension skills to interpret order sheets accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and perform frequent lifting.
- Commitment to following safety procedures and using PPE.
