Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and identifying any damages.
- Verify incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery receipts.
- Stock received inventory in designated warehouse locations accurately.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to specifications.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks, ensuring proper placement and securing of loads.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Keep the shipping and receiving areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Support overall logistics operations and team goals.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and pallet jacks is a strong asset.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of logistics and inventory management principles.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following all established protocols.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
