Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies.
- Verify incoming goods against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Stock received items in designated warehouse locations.
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to established procedures.
- Generate shipping labels and necessary documentation.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and PPE .
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding shipment status and any issues.
- Lifting of packages up to 50 lbs may be required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to Safety and adherence to warehouse procedures.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
- Knowledge of Logistics principles is beneficial.
