Picker/Packer

Job Summary:

You will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves and meticulously packing them for shipment. Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse locations using an order picking device or list.
• Verify product information (SKU, quantity, description) against the order to ensure accuracy.
• Carefully pack picked items into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring products are protected during transit.
• Select correct packaging materials, such as boxes, tape, and dunnage, to secure items.
• Label packages accurately with shipping information.
• Operate packing equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
• Conduct quality checks on packed items to ensure they meet company standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all warehouse safety protocols.
• Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, including receiving and put-away.
• Adhere to all guidelines regarding the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a picker or packer is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to perform tasks involving regular Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
• Basic reading and math skills.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
• Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential.
