Order Picker

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick customer orders based on pick lists and scanning equipment.
• Inspect picked items for quality and ensure they match order specifications.
• Stage orders correctly for the packing and shipping departments.
• Maintain a clean and organized picking area, ensuring safety standards are met.
• Operate warehouse equipment as needed, such as pallet jacks.
• Report any discrepancies or issues with orders or inventory to supervisors.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
• Participate in inventory cycle counts as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
• Proficiency with RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
• Ability to perform tasks requiring physical exertion, including lifting items up to 35 lbs.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong understanding of logistics and warehouse operations.
• Commitment to workplace safety and correct PPE usage.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
