Responsibilities:
- Efficiently and accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Verify item numbers, descriptions, and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Safely transport picked items to designated packing or staging areas.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of your assigned work areas.
- Follow all warehouse safety guidelines and protocols, utilizing provided PPE.
- Operate pallet jacks and other relevant warehouse equipment.
- Report any stock discrepancies or damaged goods immediately.
- Strive to meet daily picking quotas and quality standards.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- This position involves consistent walking, standing, and frequent lifting up to 45 pounds.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or order picking position is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret order pick lists and item labels.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks requiring standing, walking, and lifting throughout the shift.
- Capacity to lift up to 45 pounds regularly.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures is beneficial.
- A positive attitude and ability to work well in a team.
- Punctual and reliable with a strong work ethic.
