Order Picker

Job Summary:
Are you detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment? Our Nashville, Tennessee facility needs diligent Order Pickers to join our logistics team! As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your speed and precision directly impact customer satisfaction and the overall efficiency of our warehouse operations. This role requires a good understanding of warehouse layouts, the ability to use scanning equipment, and a strong commitment to safety. You will be an integral part of our supply chain, ensuring orders are picked correctly and prepared for the next stage of shipment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations based on order lists and pick tickets.
• Utilize RF scanning devices to track picked items and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details.
• Stage picked items in the designated packing or shipping area.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, particularly those related to safety and efficiency.
• Report any stock discrepancies or damages to a supervisor promptly.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned, contributing to the overall logistics flow.
• Wear and use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for the duration of the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with RF scanning equipment is an advantage.
