Order Picker

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has good stamina, and can work effectively in a dynamic warehouse environment. Familiarity with order picking equipment (like pallet jacks or scanners) is a plus. We prioritize safety above all else, so adherence to all safety guidelines and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. This position requires regular lifting of items up to 50 lbs and the ability to work quickly and accurately. Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
• Use handheld scanners and other equipment to track picked items.
• Pack picked items securely for shipment.
• Stage orders for loading and verification.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines, including the use of PPE.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock put-away as needed.
• Contribute to overall team goals in a logistics environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
• Ability to read order slips and follow instructions accurately.
• Capacity for frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
• Understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
• Must be reliable and able to meet performance standards.
