- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues with forklifts, conveyors, and automated systems.
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with all regulations.
- Maintain detailed logs of maintenance activities and equipment status.
- Operate equipment safely when required for maintenance tasks.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE.
- Assist in training other staff on equipment operation and basic maintenance.
- Contribute to optimizing logistics flow through efficient equipment upkeep.
- Manage inventory of spare parts and order replacements as needed.
- This role may involve lifting of components and parts.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with various types of warehouse equipment and logistics systems.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
- Knowledge of safety standards and best practices.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that may involve bending, stooping, and lifting.
- Certification in relevant technical fields is a plus.
