The Order Picker is a crucial part of our operations, responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse stock based on pick lists or digital scanner devices.
- Transport picked items to the packing station or designated area.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order specifications.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to maximize efficiency and minimize hazards.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, such as stocking and inventory checks.
- Contribute to the overall effectiveness of our logistics operations by meeting or exceeding picking targets.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or equipment issues immediately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work quickly and accurately in a warehouse environment.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, reach, and lift up to 40 lbs consistently.
- Familiarity with warehouse scanning technology is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of safety best practices and a commitment to wearing required PPE.
