Order Picker

Job Summary:
Join our team as an Order Picker in the vibrant heart of New York City, New York! We are seeking motivated individuals to accurately select and prepare customer orders for shipment. This role is crucial to our logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive their products quickly and correctly. You will navigate our warehouse, identify items using order sheets or scanning technology, and prepare them for the next stage of the shipping process. A focus on efficiency, accuracy, and Safety is key. We provide all necessary PPE and adhere to strict Safety protocols. Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to customer orders.
• Utilize scanning devices or pick lists to ensure correct item selection.
• Verify product information and quantities before proceeding.
• Stage picked items for packing and shipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Follow all warehouse Safety procedures and guidelines.
• Participate in inventory counts as required.
• Report any stock discrepancies or damaged items.
• Wear all required PPE during work hours.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse or picking experience preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Capability of moderate Lifting (up to 40 pounds).
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Familiarity with basic warehouse logistics is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively.
• Adherence to Safety standards and proper use of PPE.
• Good communication skills.
