Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on pick lists or electronic directives.
- Verify product information and quantities against order details.
- Use RF scanners to track inventory movement and update order fulfillment status in real-time.
- Organize picked items for staging and subsequent packing.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work area, adhering to all housekeeping standards.
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures, including proper lifting techniques and the use of required PPE.
- Work cooperatively with other team members to achieve daily picking targets.
- Report any stock discrepancies or potential issues to the supervisor promptly.
Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around the warehouse for the duration of the shift.
- Must be able to perform regular lifting of up to 45 pounds.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills to follow instructions accurately.
- Experience with RF scanning equipment is a plus.
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
- Excellent attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
