Responsibilities:
- Receive order slips and accurately locate specified items from warehouse shelves.
- Use scanning equipment to track picked items.
- Verify product details against order specifications.
- Package items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate shipping materials.
- Label packages accurately for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workstation and surrounding area.
- Assist in managing inventory levels by reporting stock discrepancies.
- Follow all established safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking and packing quotas.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, and perform repetitive lifting of items weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a high-volume environment.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Team player with strong communication skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
- Basic understanding of inventory management is helpful.
- Familiarity with logistics and order fulfillment processes.
