Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications and pick lists.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack orders securely using appropriate packaging materials, ensuring items are protected during transit.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information.
- Stage packed orders for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and work area.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety regulations and company policies, including the use of PPE.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks safely.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and success of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience as a picker, packer, or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and order details accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Must be able to perform lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Willingness to wear and use required PPE, such as safety gloves and eye protection.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic are essential for this logistics role.
