Order Picker

Job Summary:
We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our logistics team in Washington, D.C. This position is essential for ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently fulfilled. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for retrieving specified items from our warehouse shelves, preparing them for the next stage of processing, and maintaining organized pick paths. A strong commitment to Safety and accuracy is paramount. You will work within a dynamic team environment and are expected to follow all established warehouse procedures and Safety guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:

• Accurately select and retrieve products based on order pick lists.
• Utilize scanning devices to track inventory movement.
• Verify product information and quantities against order details.
• Transport picked items to designated packing or staging areas.
• Maintain efficiency in picking speed and accuracy.
• Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through proper picking techniques.
• Keep picking areas clean and organized.
• Follow all warehouse Safety regulations and procedures.
• Wear and utilize all required PPE correctly.
• Collaborate with fellow team members to meet operational targets.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of items up to 40 pounds.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work at a consistent pace in a busy logistics environment.
• Strong adherence to Safety protocols.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
