Order Picker

Job Summary:

This position is fundamental to our warehouse operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently fulfilled. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for locating and retrieving specified items from warehouse shelves according to order lists. Accuracy, speed, and attention to detail are key attributes for success in this role. You will work with various picking technologies and be expected to maintain a high level of productivity while adhering to all company Safety standards. This role involves considerable walking, standing, and occasional Lifting of items. Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick products from assigned locations based on order documents or handheld scanners.
• Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
• Transport picked items to designated packing or staging areas.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Operate pallet jacks or other relevant equipment as needed.
• Follow all Safety guidelines and procedures, including proper Lifting techniques.
• Utilize required PPE consistently.
• Contribute to overall team goals in the warehouse logistics flow.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand order lists and product labels.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically capable of standing and walking for extended periods, and performing moderate Lifting.
• Familiarity with warehouse Safety practices.
