Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Verify contents against purchase orders and shipping documents.
- Accurately document and log all received inventory into the warehouse management system.
- Pick, pack, and stage outgoing orders for shipment according to specifications.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Prepare shipping labels and necessary documentation for outbound carriers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in all shipping and receiving areas.
- Strictly follow all company safety policies and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Coordinate with delivery drivers and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a Shipping & Receiving role or similar warehouse function is required.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other relevant warehouse machinery is essential.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of items weighing up to 60 lbs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to all logistics standards.
- Must be able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
