Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and log all incoming shipments, verifying contents against orders.
- Process and prepare all outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and maintain organized storage.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently (certification may be required).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety standards.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and shipments.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external vendors/carriers.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements related to safety and logistics.
- Perform tasks requiring significant physical exertion, including regular Lifting of goods up to 50 pounds.
- Proper use of PPE is mandatory at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
- Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting of items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and knowledge of proper PPE usage.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles is a plus.
