Administrative Assistant Pharmacy Department

We are seeking a highly organized and professional Administrative Assistant to support our Pharmacy team in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure while interacting with patients, doctors, and internal teams.

Location: Onsite Schedule: 100% Onsite Type: Temp-to-Perm Salary: $30$32 per hour when permanent Dress Code: Business Casual

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary administrative support for the Pharmacy department.
  • Interface with the pharmacy team and assist with daily operations.
  • Communicate professionally with patients and doctors via phone and email.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive, helpful demeanor.
  • Manage inventory and place orders as needed.
  • Handle heavy phone work with confidence and professionalism.
  • Utilize MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) for documentation and communication.
  • Learn and adapt quickly to new technology systems; ERM experience is a plus.
  • Assist with reporting and other administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as an administrator in a medical office is required.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new systems quickly; ERM experience preferred.
  • Comfortable with heavy phone interaction and professional communication.

Pharmacy Tech Certification a PLUS not a MUST
