Talent Acquisition Associate – POAH Communities

The Talent Acquisition Associate administers and supports HR functions in recruiting, pre‑employment screening, and hiring. Initially, the role ensures a positive candidate experience from offer acceptance through onboarding. After onboarding, the associate manages a recruitment portfolio and handles full‑cycle talent acquisition. Hybrid schedule: up to three days working from home each week. Responsibilities

Offer & Pre‑Employment Process

– Oversee offers, pre‑employment testing, background and motor vehicle checks, physicals, drug screenings, and collect HR documentation. Onboarding Preparation & Logistics

– Circulate new hire information, manage system access, workspace setup, equipment needs, and serve as primary point of contact for new hires. Administrative & Process Support

– Maintain accurate ATS records, assist with special projects, reporting, process improvements, and submit invoices to accounting. Talent Acquisition Portfolio

– Manage the recruitment process for a dedicated portfolio of locations, conduct phone‑screen interviews, coordinate candidate pre‑screening, circulate new hire and agency information, research, special projects, and submit invoices. Qualifications

1–3 years of HR coordination, onboarding, or related support functions. Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) preferred. College degree preferred. Strong organizational skills, ability to manage competing deadlines. Ability to work with urgency while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Experience handling sensitive and confidential information. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong customer service orientation. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Other Skills

Clear, professional, and timely communication. Prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Accuracy in documentation and candidate data. Adaptability to shifting priorities and processes. Handling sensitive candidate and company information with care and professionalism. Benefits
