About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to join their executive team. The CNO will be responsible for providing leadership and coordinating activities that ensure high-quality patient care, in line with system-wide nursing practices and standards. This role involves creating a dynamic vision and strategic roadmap for nursing, fostering an environment of empowerment, professional practice, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' progressive leadership experience, including a background in leading patient care providers and advocating for caregivers. A Bachelor's in Nursing and a Master's degree in nursing, business, or a related field are required, along with experience in quality management, medical management, administration, operational finance, and leadership. Current RN licensure in the State of Florida or the ability to obtain is also necessary, and leadership experience in a pediatric setting is a must.
The successful CNO will work closely with the executive team to achieve the organization's goals, contribute to its long-term success, and ensure that the nursing department is aligned with the mission and values of the healthcare system.
