Tax Manager
Location: Chicago – Downtown | Hybrid
Base pay range: $140,000.00/yr – $180,000.00/yr
What your role looks like As a Tax Manager, you’ll oversee engagements, review complex work, lead client conversations, and support the development of senior and junior staff. You’ll have real ownership from managing workflows to shaping how clients are serviced. If you’re someone who’s already thinking about the next step, you’ll have a clear path. Promotion here is based on performance, not tenure.
Responsibilities
Oversee engagements and review complex work.
Lead client conversations and support broader client strategy.
Support development of senior and junior staff.
Manage workflows and shape client service delivery.
Exposure You’ll work across a broad mix of S‑Corps, Partnerships, C‑Corps and Individuals. You can continue growing as a strong generalist or start carving out a niche; either way the firm is supportive. With firm‑wide profit‑sharing, your work directly ties into reward, not just responsibility.
