The
Systems Engineering Subject Matter Expert (SME)
provides technical advisory support for U.S. Coast Guard acquisition programs by assessing implementation of Systems Engineering Life Cycle (SELC) policies and reviewing systems engineering products for completeness and compliance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities The Systems Engineering SME will:
Provide expert advisory support for SELC policy implementation and refinement.
Review systems engineering artifacts for completeness and policy compliance.
Document findings and recommendations in written reports.
Track systems engineering review events and associated completion documentation.
Education and/or Experience Required:
Minimum
10 years of systems engineering experience
supporting federal acquisition programs.
Demonstrated experience applying SELC frameworks to acquisition governance.
Work Environment & Schedule
Full-time or surge support as required by the Call Order.
Remote with on-site participation as needed.
Security, Eligibility, and Compliance Requirements
Must meet Coast Guard background investigation and access requirements.
