We are currently seeking Harness Design Engineers with 3D CAD Design experience (CREO Parametric a plus) to support a spacecraft development program. As part of a small, passionate, and accomplished fast-moving team of experts, you will provide leadership, technical expertise, team member oversight and analytical solutions to support the design and development of multiple space vehicles. You will find your excellent collaboration and communication skills are an essential part of the job. You will perform electric harness design support development of conceptual design phases through to released engineering drawings. RESPONSIBILITIES

Design electrical harnesses for numerous applications; RF, high speed data signals and power distribution and communications Select wire sizes, connectors and backshells Understand EMI/RFI and harness shielding requirements Model and Route 3D harnesses using CREO Parametric Create 3D or 2D harness detail and installation drawings Create 2D flat harness drawings from 3D models Design secondary structure to support electrical harnesses Manage the product definition within the Windchill PDM environment Present and support the generation of reports and presentation materials for internal and customer design reviews, Preliminary and Critical Design Review (PDR & CDR) EXPECTATIONS

Harness and Harness Component Design and Selection Secondary Structure supports and Brackets Harness Routing and integration Integrated electrical system installations Design applicants should have experience with CAD design specific to working with CREO Parametric or other similar CAD software. Harness Design Engineers should also be familiar with aerospace electrical systems or engineering drawing development and release. Applicants should be cognizant of design for weight, producibility, durability, and customer-specific needs. You should also possess good verbal and written communication skills and must function well in a multi-disciplinary team. Knowledge of existing applicable harness standards: IPC/WHMA-A-620A, NASA-STD-8739.4 is a plus QUALIFICATIONS

Understanding of aerospace electrical engineering principles, aerospace secondary structures or concepts related to aerospace electrical requirements CREO Parametric experience is a plus, need to be able to model both in 2D and 3D Experience designing electrical harness routes, including presentations at PDR/CDR Experience leading electrical system harness route efforts is a plus LOCATION

The TLG office is in Seattle, Washington and roles will be primarily hybrid-based work environments which will consist of both onsite and work-from-home options. Each project would be dependent upon the role and experience. EXPERIENCE

Harness Design Engineer: Minimum of 2 years of applied experience ITAR Compliance – U.S. Persons Requirement

U.S. citizenship or a ‘Green Card’ is required. Applicants must be able to show proof of U.S. citizenship or a ‘Green Card’ as part of the ability to meet ITAR Compliance standards. TLG Aerospace is an ITAR (International Traffic in Arms) defense manufacturing partner facility that works with government/federal military parts, and military schematic drawings and performs defense services that require our company to ask about U.S. Persons status as part of the verification during the pre-hire process. EDUCATION

B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. degree in electrical, mechanical or aerospace engineering, or equivalent BENEFITS

TLG provides up to 22 vacation days per year, depending on years of experience, and 10 paid holidays per year. SALARY

The base pay for this position ranges from $100,000 to $130,000 per year. Please note this salary information is a general guideline only. Salaries are based on candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. INDUSTRY
