Position Overview As the OBL Territory Manager, you will drive sales growth in the assigned territories through strategic planning, customer relationships, and product knowledge. Key focus areas include new business development, achieving sales targets, and providing exceptional service and support to physicians.
Essential Job Functions
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve territory targets and maximize penetration.
Build and maintain lasting relationships with office-based labs and healthcare professionals.
Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and threats.
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Shockwave products and technology.
Maintain understanding of reimbursement processes for Shockwave products.
Educate customers on product use through presentations and demonstrations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive customer satisfaction.
Provide training and support on product usage and clinical applications.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and performance metrics in CRM.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to physicians and staff.
Stay updated on industry developments and regulatory changes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2 years territory manager experience in hospital-based life sciences (cardiovascular preferred); or 3 years cardiovascular or interventional sales support experience.
Successful sales experience in catheter technology, occlusive vascular disease, endovascular, atherectomy, stent, coronary, with peripheral influence preferred.
Ability to meet and exceed assigned sales plan quarterly and annually.
Independent management of time, resources, and budgets within the territory.
Established relationships with hospitals and physicians; ability to bring new users.
Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
Not debarred by FDA for medical device work.
Valid driver’s license.
Team-oriented with flexibility to changing requirements.
Ability to sit for prolonged periods and lift up to 25 lbs; may work in non-temperature-controlled spaces.
Pay Transparency Base pay: $120,000. Eligible for sales incentive compensation; car allowance through Fleet program.

Time Off Benefits
Vacation: up to 120 hours per calendar year.
Sick time: up to 40 hours per year (56 hours if resident in Washington state).
