Job Overview
Sunstates Security, one of the fastest‑growing privately held security companies in the U.S., is hiring Flex Security Officers in the Cincinnati, OH area. The position pays $18/hr, paid weekly.
Role Description A Flex Security Officer will support client sites on short‑notice shifts, covering absences caused by illness, weather, vacation, or other call‑off circumstances. The officer must read and follow Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and act quickly and efficiently in support of these directives.
Shifts and Scheduling This on‑call position requires flexibility. Shift options include:
1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Flexible scheduling varies per assignment; short‑notice changes or call‑ins may occur.
Requirements
Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or the military (preferred).
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Team‑oriented, flexible, and reliable.
1+ year of experience in a customer‑service role.
Outstanding report‑writing skills.
Education High School diploma or equivalent.
