ACF Global Logistics is a leading international Freight Forwarder/NVOCC, IATA agent, Customs Broker, and warehouse provider offering comprehensive 3PL/4PL solutions. Position Overview If you’ve built a solid book of business in truckload / domestic brokerage and you’re ready to get out of the “chasing cheap margins” grind, this role is built for you.
We’re hiring an Inside Sales Representative – Air/Ocean/Domestic for our Cincinnati, OH office who wants to:
Take their carrier sales / TL brokerage skills and plug them into a global logistics platform.
Learn ocean, air, and compliance from the ground up.
Work with complete supply chains instead of one-off spot loads.
You’ll focus on building new customer relationships across domestic truckload/LTL, international air, and ocean freight—while working closely with our pricing, operations, and customs teams to turn those opportunities into long‑term programs.
No experience in global logistics? We’ve got you covered. We’ll train you in ocean, air, and compliance so you can confidently sell full supply chain solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively hunt for new business through calls, outreach, and targeted prospecting.
Leverage your truckload brokerage background to identify domestic opportunities and grow them into multi‑mode programs.
Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified prospects across domestic, air, and ocean.
Identify, qualify, and convert prospects into active, recurring clients.
Partner with pricing, operations, and customs/compliance to design solutions and ensure a clean hand‑off from prospect to account.
Stay plugged into market conditions (capacity, rates, trade lanes) and use that intel to win and retain business.
Maintain accurate activity, pipeline, and opportunity data in CRM/TMS tools.
Represent ACF with professionalism, urgency, and a customer‑first, solution‑driven mindset.
Skills & Qualifications
Truckload / domestic brokerage or carrier sales experience required.
Proven hunter mentality with inside sales or brokerage experience in logistics/transportation.
High energy, self‑starter with a growth mindset—comfortable building from scratch, not just managing house accounts.
Strong communication and relationship‑building skills; able to talk freight with both shippers and carriers.
Comfortable managing a high‑volume pipeline and following through consistently.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM and/or TMS is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, supply chain, or related field preferred but not required.
