Quality Technician | Hart, MI
Salary Range: $45,000 - $68,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Perform detailed inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
Conduct various tests using specialized equipment and document results accurately.
Maintain and calibrate quality inspection tools and measurement equipment.
Identify, segregate, and document non-conforming materials or products, initiating corrective action processes.
Assist in the investigation of quality issues, supporting root cause analysis and resolution efforts.
Generate and maintain quality control records, reports, and data for analysis.
Ensure strict adherence to established quality procedures, work instructions, and safety protocols.
Recommended Qualifications
Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and quality tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA).
Strong attention to detail and critical thinking for identifying non-conformances.
Basic understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and data collection.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT) or Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt certification.
Familiarity with CMM programming or calibration of measurement equipment.
Experience utilizing ERP or MES systems for quality data management.
