Salary Range:
$48,000 - $75,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Perform precise dimensional inspections of manufactured parts using various metrology equipment (e.g., CMM, optical comparators, hand tools).
Interpret engineering blueprints, specifications, and GD&T to determine measurement requirements and acceptance criteria.
Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot metrology equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Document inspection results, generate reports, and maintain accurate measurement records.
Develop, validate, and execute CMM programs for complex part inspections.
Investigate and resolve measurement discrepancies or quality issues, providing feedback to engineering and production teams.
Support manufacturing operations by providing metrology expertise and assisting with first-article inspections and in-process checks.
Recommended Qualifications
Associate's degree in Metrology, Quality Assurance, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Proficient understanding and application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Demonstrated ability to operate and program Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) using industry-standard software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso).
Skilled in using a wide range of precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and bore gauges.
Experience with calibration procedures and maintaining measurement traceability.
Ability to interpret engineering blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with CMM programming software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS)
Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for SPC and data interpretation
Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for model review fixture design
ASQ Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) or Certified Quality Technician (CQT) certification
