Commercial HVAC Installer Technician – Baton Rouge, LA (Remote)

$31–$42 per hour ($64,480–$87,360 annually)
Overtime authorized with Supervisor approval
Per diem: $55 per day, lodging provided for out‑of‑town travel
Paid Time Off: 48 hours at start, increasing to 168 hours with tenure

Your Role As an HVAC Installer Technician you will install and maintain commercial HVAC systems, ensuring peak performance and client satisfaction. Key duties include:
Installation: pipefitting, brazing, and soldering refrigerant piping; troubleshoot installation challenges
Service: conduct maintenance, repairs, and emergency service on HVAC and refrigeration systems
Collaboration: work with dispatchers and supervisors for seamless project execution
Documentation: complete work orders and reports accurately using company‑issued iPad/iPhone
Qualifications
Required: 2–5 years HVAC experience; EPA certification; high school diploma/GED; valid driver’s license; ability to pass drug/background checks
Preferred: HVAC apprenticeship; Journeyman license; or technical training
Physical: lift 75 lbs.; climb ladders; work in confined spaces; wear PPE
Travel: flexibility for overtime and regional travel (per diem: $55/day, lodging provided)
Tools & Support
Provided: service van, iPad, iPhone, PPE
Technician tools: hand tools, drills, Sawzall, manometer, multimeter, refrigerant gauges
