Position Type: Contract, Contract Duration: Approximately 6 months, Start: As Soon As Possible, Pay Rate: $18 – $23 per hour

Job Summary The Administrative Support professional provides comprehensive administrative and office support to management, technical teams, and business operations. This role ensures efficient day-to-day office functions while supporting employees across multiple Southern California sites. The primary office location will be Camarillo, with occasional travel to Thousand Oaks as business needs require.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Regularly utilize Costpoint and SharePoint systems for administrative tasks.

Manage travel authorizations, airline and hotel bookings, conference registrations, and expense reporting.

Prepare and submit purchase requisitions.

Process IT service requests and shipping documentation.

Coordinate meeting logistics, including scheduling, room setup, IT support, and catering.

Oversee visitor management and badge access requests.

Support proposal approval workflows.

Coordinate office setup for new hires.

Provide backup and assistance to other administrative staff as needed.

Required Qualifications & Competencies

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

High attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records.

Ability to exercise sound judgment and work independently with minimal supervision.

Demonstrates exemplary ethics, professionalism, and safe work practices.

Education & Experience

Associate’s Degree in Administration or related field, or equivalent education and experience.

3–5 years of experience in a progressively responsible office or administrative role.
