Job Description:

• The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) represents the face of the company to patients as part of their healthcare routine or for important health insights.
• The PSR II collects high-quality blood specimens, prepares samples for laboratory testing, and follows established practices and procedures.
• This role requires direct patient interaction while maintaining professionalism, trust, and confidentiality. Assignments may include doctor s offices, patient service centers, or other locations based on business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.
• Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing following established procedures.
• Verify patient demographic information, initials, and signatures post-venipuncture to ensure correct specimen labeling.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.

Requirement/Must Have:

• Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, and overtime.
• Ability to make decisions based on established procedures and sound judgment.
• Reliable transportation with a valid driver s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to travel and work across multiple locations with minimal notice.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
• Strong customer focus with clear and professional communication skills.
• Commitment to company policies, dress code, safety, and compliance standards.

Experience:

• Three years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
• Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard and data entry experience required.

Qualification And Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
