Job Description:

  • The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) represents the face of the company to patients as part of their healthcare routine or for critical health insights.
  • The PSR II is responsible for collecting high-quality blood specimens, preparing samples for laboratory testing, and ensuring all procedures are performed safely, accurately, and in compliance with established standards.
  • This role requires direct patient interaction while maintaining trust, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Assignments may include doctor s offices, patient service centers, or other locations based on business needs.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.
  • Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing following established procedures.
  • Verify patient demographic information, initials, and signatures post-venipuncture to ensure correct specimen labeling.
  • Maintain required records and documentation.
  • Promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational commitment and adherence to process excellence standards.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
  • Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, and overtime as required.
  • Ability to make decisions based on established procedures and sound judgment.
  • Reliable transportation with a valid driver s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel and cover multiple Patient Service Center and in-office locations with minimal notice.
  • Strong customer focus with clear, professional communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
  • Commitment to company policies, dress code, safety, and compliance standards.
Experience:
  • 1 3 years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
  • Customer service experience in a retail or service environment strongly preferred.
  • Keyboard and data entry experience required.

Qualification And Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
