Key Responsibilities & Duties
Supervise hourly maintenance staff, including scheduling, prioritization, and delegation
Drive safe work practices and champion personal and food safety across the plant
Manage installation, repair, and maintenance of machinery, conveyors, and building systems
Track equipment failures, downtime, and coordinate solutions with production leadership
Develop, implement, and sustain preventive and predictive maintenance programs
Lead loss prevention, risk management, and USDA compliance initiatives
Coordinate with People Operations on hiring, training, engagement, and retention
Manage maintenance budgets, capital planning, tools, and spare parts inventory
Supervise contractors and ensure compliance with safety standards
Qualifications – Needed
Education: Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of plant maintenance leadership experience
Industry Background: Strong preference for food manufacturing environments
Proven experience with PM programs, equipment reliability, and downtime reduction
Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems
Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics
Experience with conveyors, power equipment, and facility maintenance
Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Proficient with PC systems and maintenance‑related software
