Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems and components in a manufacturing environment.
Troubleshoot complex electrical issues using various testing devices and interpret schematics.
Perform preventative maintenance on industrial electrical equipment to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
Adhere to all safety regulations, electrical codes, and company policies, including lockout/tagout procedures.
Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals for system understanding and repair.
Execute modifications and upgrades to existing electrical systems, machinery, and production lines.
Calibrate and adjust electrical equipment to optimize performance and product quality.
Recommended Qualifications
Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification
Proven experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical systems and machinery
Proficiency with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and motor control circuits
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety regulations (e.g., NFPA 70E, OSHA)
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with industrial robotics wiring, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Proficiency in instrumentation and process control systems (e.g., PID loops, sensors).
Experience with high-voltage (e.g., 4160V) distribution and equipment.
Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET).
