Senior Accountant
with a corporate accounting background to support financial reporting, compliance, and accounting operations in a complex business environment. Position Summary The Senior Accountant will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month‑end and year‑end close processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This position is ideal for someone who has worked in a structured corporate setting and is comfortable operating within a large organization. Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP Support month‑end and year‑end close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Assist with internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules and responding to audit requests Support internal controls and compliance initiatives, including SOX requirements Analyze financial data and provide insights to management Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including FP&A, tax, and operations Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within accounting functions Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff as needed Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills Exposure to SOX compliance and audit processes preferred Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to meet deadlines Seniority level
