Job Overview Purpose: This position will maintain various floors by performing floor maintenance duties using equipment and supplies.
Responsibilities Maintain floors, use floor maintenance equipment and supplies.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of cleaning methods and cleaning supplies.
Skilled in the use of floor maintenance equipment and supplies.
Good organization skills.
Ability to work in teams.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Ability to communicate effectively and maintain positive relations with faculty, staff and students.
Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent education/experience.
Experience with floor maintenance and floor maintenance equipment.
Experience with cleaning methods and cleaning supplies.
Driver's license required.
Previous experience working at a university (additional consideration).
Salary Information Starting at $31,200, commensurate with education and experience.

Conditions Of Employment
Classified position: 12‑month probationary period.
New employees attend a 2‑day New Employee Orientation Program.
Eligibility and Working Conditions No telework eligibility. Light lifting ( 50 lb). Pushing/pulling, standing, sitting, bending, walking, climbing, reaching, repetitive motion, fast pace, average pace, multiple priorities, intense customer interaction, multiple stimuli, frequency changes, memory, reasoning, hearing, reading, analyzing, logic, verbal communication, written communication. Intensity all marginal.
