Base pay range $80,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr
Our client is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team!
Duties/Responsibilities
Manage month‑end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.
Perform balance sheet and P&L account reconciliations, identifying discrepancies and ensuring compliance with accounting policies.
Assist with the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules for management review.
Analyze financial data and assist with the preparation of internal and external reports.
Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting regulations, standards, and company policies.
Support external audits and provide requested documentation.
Work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate reporting and resolve any discrepancies.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes as needed.
Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline accounting procedures.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a mid‑market size company.
Experience working in public accounting.
Strong experience with general ledger accounting, month‑end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.
Experience working in a large privately held company or public accounting firm is a plus.
Familiarity with financial reporting, accounting principles (GAAP), and regulatory compliance.
Strong Excel skills, including proficiency in formulas and pivot tables.
ERP experience is preferred (NetSuite, SAP, or similar systems).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
