Base pay range $35.30/hr - $36.40/hr
Job Opportunity: Temp to Perm Position Available.
This position offers the opportunity to transition from a temporary to a permanent role, providing stability and growth for the right candidate.
Schedule & Shift
Schedule: 4x10
Shift: 8:30pm - 7am
Requirements
Flu vaccination (no declination/no exemption)
Certifications: RPSGT, RCP, CA License, BLS (AHA or ARC)
Minimum Experience: 2 years with PSG and home sleep study scoring
First-time travelers are welcome
Preferred Qualifications
EEG certification
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
Work under the direct clinical supervision of the sleep medicine physician to prepare sleep studies, support patients with positive airway pressure-related issues, and conduct polysomnogram scoring.
Oversee home sleep study logistics, including setting up and scoring home sleep testing devices.
Collect, analyze, and integrate patient information to identify and meet patient-specific needs.
Determine final testing parameters/procedures in collaboration with the ordering physician or clinical director and laboratory protocols.
Explain procedures and orient patients for sleep testing.
Select and calibrate appropriate equipment for testing to ensure proper functioning, making adjustments if necessary; apply electrodes and sensors according to accepted standards.
Perform data acquisition while monitoring study-tracing quality to ensure signals are artifact-free, identify, correct, and document artifacts.
Document routine observations, including sleep stages and clinical events, changes in procedure, and other significant events to facilitate scoring and interpretation of polysomnographic results.
Provide patient education and instruction appropriate for sleep testing.
