Job Preview The WIS Travel Team works predominantly with the world’s largest retailer, providing exceptional inventory solutions support. As the face of our organization, you uphold core values of service, pride, integrity, results, innovation, and teamwork in a safe and inclusive environment. The Travel Inventory Associate travels weekly to customer locations across the region, scanning barcodes for current inventory to provide accurate data that helps customers make better business decisions. Drivers transport team members safely, adhere to traffic laws and WIS driver safety requirements, conduct vehicle inspections, maintenance, and daily cleaning, ensuring safe transport and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Transport team members to and from inventory events in a timely manner
Adhere to all traffic laws and WIS driver safety requirements
Perform vehicle inspections, maintenance, and daily cleaning
Assist with inventory scanning and data collection at customer sites
Team Requirements
Must be 18 years of age
Ability to stay in hotels up to 4 nights per week at employer expense, including out‑of‑state travel
No prior inventory experience required – we look for awesome people
Experience desired in retail, stock, customer service, cashier, sales, picker, packer, driver, and/or warehouse work
Access to reliable transportation
Driver Requirements
Must be 21 years old
Valid driver’s license in state of residence for at least 36 consecutive months
Minimum of three (3) years proven driving experience
Willingness to submit to pre‑employment investigative consumer report, pre‑employment screening, and MVR check
Familiarity with GPS devices and navigation
Availability for flexible schedules, including very early mornings and/or late nights
Working Conditions This position requires the ability to stand for prolonged periods, walk, use both hands and wrists for repetitive motions, frequently be in low‑level positions such as squatting, kneeling, or crouching, use a ladder, lift and carry items up to 25 lbs, and travel by car and occasionally by plane, including overnight stays (up to 4 days a week).
