Continuous Improvement Manager | Otsego, MI Salary Range:

$94,000 - $141,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage continuous improvement projects across manufacturing operations.

Develop, implement, and sustain Lean, Six Sigma, and other CI methodologies.

Identify process inefficiencies, waste, and bottlenecks through data analysis and observation.

Train, coach, and mentor employees at all levels on CI principles and tools.

Establish metrics, track performance, and report on the ROI of CI initiatives.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement and problem-solving throughout the organization.

Standardize processes and best practices to ensure sustainable gains.

Recommended Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification (or equivalent demonstrated expertise).

Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience leading continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment.

Proven proficiency in applying Lean methodologies (e.g., Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, 5S, SMED) and statistical process control.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with experience leveraging data to drive impactful change.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with advanced CI methodologies such as Shingo Model, Theory of Constraints, or Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) beyond basic implementation.

Proficiency in advanced data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Python/R) for process optimization and predictive insights.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Demonstrated experience integrating digital transformation initiatives (e.g., IoT, automation) with continuous improvement efforts.
