Maintenance Manager
Healthcare Arizona LLC, a premier mattress manufacturing arm of the MLILY company, operates an air‑conditioned 650,000‑sq‑ft plant in Goodyear, Arizona. The role of Maintenance Manager leads the maintenance department, ensuring efficient, proactive, and reactive support for all equipment and facility infrastructure.
Pay $70,000–$75,000 annual salary
Schedule Monday‑Friday, 8am‑5pm
Supervisory Responsibilities
Hire, train, and manage maintenance staff.
Oversee daily department operations and workflow.
Conduct timely performance evaluations and manage disciplinary actions per company policy.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all maintenance operations and staff workload.
Develop and implement preventative and corrective maintenance procedures.
Monitor equipment condition, schedule repairs, and ensure machinery meets performance standards.
Conduct regular facility inspections and coordinate repair/installation activities.
Manage budgets, expenses, inventory, and vendor relationships.
Ensure compliance with safety, health, and facility standards.
Maintain maintenance logs, progress reports, and documentation.
Oversee electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and facility systems.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Abilities
Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and general engineering systems.
Experience planning and managing maintenance operations.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organization, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work in a fast‑paced environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Forklift maintenance experience preferred.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years of maintenance leadership experience.
Physical Requirements
Very Heavy work: Lifting up to 50 pounds constantly on your own and up to 100 pounds via team lift frequently during a 10‑hour shift.
Standing: Remaining on one’s feet in an upright position during a 10‑hour shift with breaks.
Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.
Stooping: Bending the body forward and down while bending the spine at the waist 45 degrees or more.
Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; conveying detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels; receiving detailed information through oral communication and making fine discriminations in sound.
Vision: Visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, thoroughness of work, and to visually inspect machinery being used.
Temperature: Adapting to cold or hot temperatures, even though the worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
