Shift Requirements after onboarding/training for this role: M-F, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Responsibilities
Service diagnostic equipment in the Pocatello, ID area.
Install, troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance on all Siemens Healthcare systems at customer sites with minimal supervision.
Deliver timely and effective repairs and provide adequate training to operators to ensure optimal system performance and superior customer satisfaction.
Manage financial performance within the territory, meeting or exceeding budget for revenue generation, expense control and inventory management.
Ensure that all tool and test equipment expiration dates are managed and that no overdue calibration test equipment is used or maintained in the field; document usage on eFSR.
Manage company assets including company car, cell phone, computer, tools, inventory parts, etc.
Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, performing necessary administrative duties accurately.
Provide mentoring to other Customer Service Engineers on all competencies and responsibilities.
Qualifications
Knowledge and experience performing service, preventative maintenance and modifications on medical imaging equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision.
Ability and experience to establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, performing necessary administrative duties accurately.
Experience in testing, repairing and maintaining capital medical equipment.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Required Skills
Minimum high school diploma; technical associate’s degree or equivalent preferred.
Proficient in the use of tools and service test equipment, able to work individually and in a team.
Proficiency in network applications and tools (e.g., eVO, mButler, MS Office, Concur, NAM Customer Service website – Engineer Tools).
Ability to locate, read and understand documents for installation, set‑up, repair, troubleshooting, schematics, block diagrams and functional descriptions.
5‑7 years experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing diagnostic instruments.
Valid driver’s license, ability to drive independently day and night with a good driving record.
Physical Requirements Lifting 50 lbs (floor to above waist/head), walking, ladder/step‑stool climbing, bending, twisting, sitting, squatting, standing, high‑reach, fine grasping manipulation, good vision, and ability to work alone.
Must demonstrate excellent judgment in customer relations and in managing company resources; strong competency in instrument systems technology including mechanics, electrical, chemistry, and software technology; experience with electronics, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Base Pay Range $67,550 – $92,884
